An important part of any companies IT infrastructure is the Acceptable Use Policy.  Simply put, an Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) is a document that outlines what users can and cannot do on the IT infrastructure of the company, and how violations will be handled.  There are several good reasons why a company should have an AUP, which is what we will go over in this post, and the next post or 2 will go into detail of what you should see in an AUP.
